Editor's Note

Located in the square within the boundaries of the İzzetiye neighborhood in the Keşan district of Edirne province, the mosque is a masonry, rectangular-plan structure with a hipped roof. On its heavily damaged inscription above the entrance door, the words "Bismillahirrahmanirrahim 1311 (1895 CE) ...... Mustafa Said Efendi ....." can be read. The mosque's deed (berat) records its construction date as 01.01.1311 (1893-94 CE) and its opening for worship as 01.01.1930.
