Editor's Note
It is located within the boundaries of Altınyazı village in the Uzunköprü district of Edirne province. Three sections of fortification wall and other wall remains have survived to the present. Taking its construction techniques into account, it is thought to date to the 11th-century Byzantine period. It was registered as a First-Degree Archaeological Site by the Edirne Regional Council for the Conservation of Cultural Assets through decision no. 1680, dated 25.04.2014.
