Editor's Note
It is located on Kuğuburnu Hill, within the boundaries of Akhoca village in the Keşan district of Edirne province. A survey of the hill revealed dense quantities of ceramic and pottery fragments on the summit and on the slope descending to the south. According to a thesis prepared by Ergün Karaca, research carried out in the area uncovered eight coins understood to belong to the Kuğuburnu settlement. Of these, one is probably a Kypsela coin dated to 400 BC, one an Ainos coin dated to 350-400 BC, two coins of the city of Chersonesos dated to the 4th-5th centuries, and three Ainos coins to the 3rd-5th
