Yaylaköy Castle stands on the shore of the Gulf of Saros, about 3 km south of the village. It is the third of the coastal castles lying along the Gulf of Saros within the borders of Edirne province, counting from the east. Today there is no coastal road connecting Mecidiye Castle and Yayla Castle along the shore. The route reaching Yayla Castle through the interior by way of Mecidiye village is 27 km long.
