Unfortunately, the inscription of the Alaca Mustafa Pasha Mosque, located in the district center, has not survived. For this reason, the year it was built and the identity of its builder remain unknown. It is thought to date from the early years when the Ottomans, after Gallipoli, were launching raids into Rumelia by way of Thrace.
