The castle remains identified on Candirkale Hill at the Candir Mountain site in Enez district, Edirne province, lie on a commanding hill within forest land. The wall remains are made of rubble stone. [1] Source: [1] Decision no. 4727 dated 25.12.2017 on the registration of the Candir Kale Tepe castle remains in Yazir village, Enez, Edirne, as a First-Degree Archaeological Site.
