It lies within the bounds of the Yenimahalle neighborhood in Enez district, Edirne province. The oldest known stretch of road in Enez whose remains have survived to the present, it passes between the marshland north of Enez and the slopes of Mount Hisarli, which runs east to west, and is oriented north to south. About 30-35 meters of the road can be seen above ground, with deterioration here and there in some sections.
