Isa Celebi this time took refuge with Isfendiyar Bey of the Candaroglu. Having regained their beyliks through Timur, Cuneyt Bey of the Aydinoglu, Hizirsah Bey of the Saruhan, Ilyas Bey of the Mentese, and the Candaroglu provided troops with which Isa Celebi attacked his brother Mehmed Celebi at Bursa three more times between 1404 and 1405, being defeated and forced to retreat each time.
