Editor's Note
It was built between 1451 and 1481 by Hoca Mehmet, known in the time of Mehmed the Conqueror as "Kefen Suzen." Measuring 7.50 by 8.10 meters on the inside, the mosque has all its walls built of rubble stone and is single-domed. The roof over the portico is a wooden canopy covered with tiles. The dome, set on an octagonal blind drum, is covered with tiles. The mihrab is plain and recessed into the wall. The pairs of lower windows on the east, west, and north walls have iron grilles and pointed arches. The lower windows on the south wall have been walled up and turned into cupboards.
