Editor's Note
The school building, constructed in 1830, continued in education until 24 January 1928; after that date it served as the Bursa Girls' High School until 1947. In 1947 the Bursa Girls' Teacher Training School moved into the building and operated there until it closed in 1980. Together with the additional buildings later constructed, the historic Block C building has since then, up to the present day, been used as the Tourism Vocational High School and as a Vocational Technical High School.
