Editor's Note
It stands on the street of the same name within Hisar. It was built during the reign of Murad I by Şerafüddin el-Hac Şeyh Çırağ, the brother of Hacı İvaz Paşa. The mosque, with an interior area of 50 square metres, has a rectangular plan. Its upper section, once domed, is today covered by a hipped roof. It has a single row of corbelled (sawtooth) eaves. The southeast corner of the building is chamfered with three rows of brick stalactites. Beneath the east wall there are two windows set in rectangular frames with iron grilles and pointed arches above. The walls are built of stone and brick. It underwent extensive repair in 1677. Its minaret is short and octagonal.
