Editor's Note
The Feyzullah Pasha Mosque was built in the 15th century by Feyzullah Pasha, one of the viziers during the reign of Murad II. The yogurt han in Tahtakale and the shops beside it were endowments of the mosque. Feyzullah Pasha died in 1429. The mosque, measuring 7.00 by 7.00 meters inside, has a square plan and a wooden ceiling, and is covered by a roof together with its porch. The main space is entered through a door with a pointed arch. The wooden door leaves are original and painted with oil paint. The main prayer hall is lit by a single row of windows with pointed-arch lintels on all four sides.
