Editor's Note
It was built during the reign of Sultan Mehmed II (Fatih) by Şâhî Hatun, the sister of Molla Şerefüddin Kırımî. The mosque has a rectangular plan including its porch; its main prayer hall is nearly square, measuring 7.67 by 7.91 meters, while the porch added to it is 3.48 meters deep. The porch is divided into three bays by pointed arches connecting the two side walls and two masonry piers. The bays are covered with vaulting. The front facade is high, with a gable wall featuring two rows of eaves.
