Editor's Note
It was built in 1421 by İshak Şah, son of Şah. The square-planned mosque, with interior dimensions of 6.80 x 6.80 metres, has a portico (last congregation area) 4 metres deep at its entrance. Its north section was cut off during a road widening. It has a hipped roof covered with wood. The mosque, which remained ruined and closed for many years after the 1855 earthquake, was repaired and reopened for worship in 1950. Due to frequent repairs, it has lost its originality. Its original mihrab is in a plain style and has been painted with oil paint.
