The mosque on Uzun Sokak in the Pınarbaşı neighbourhood was built during the reign of Murad II by a man named Ahi Kadem. This man's real name was Ali. He is known as Kadem Eri Ali or Ahi Kadem. The mosque, with interior dimensions of 7.30 x 7.25 metres, has a portico (last congregation area) three metres deep at its entrance. The upper part of the main prayer area is covered with a dome. The top of the portico is covered with tiles. Its walls are laid with one course of brick, one course of cut stone, and a vertical brick placed between them.
