Editor's Note
Designed by Emin Onat, who took part in the design of Anıtkabir, and Leman Cevat Tomsu, one of Turkey's first female architects, the building was constructed in 1949. [1] Transferred to Uludağ University in 1979, it was used as a university accommodation facility between 1983 and 1994. Closed in 2000, the building was transferred to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. Leased by the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) in 2015, it was used under the name Uludağ Lifelong Learning Centre. Citing its cost, the building was leased to the Swissotel in 2023.
