Editor's Note
Uğurtaşı Bridge (originally Bağava Bridge) is a single-arched stone bridge within the bounds of Uğurtaşı Village in the centre of Gümüşhane province, south of the Krom Valley, built over a branch of the Uğurtaşı Stream that flows into the Harşit River. Dated to 1908, the structure lies on the historic caravan route that ran south from the port of Trabzon and passed through the Krom, İmer and İstavri mining districts of Gümüşhane.
