Bazbent Köprüsü

Bazbent Bridge (Yağlıdere Bridge) is a single-arched stone bridge within the bounds of Yağlıdere village in the Torul district of Gümüşhane, built over the stream of the same name. Although no inscription or document survives, its architectural similarity to other bridges in the region places it in the 18th–19th centuries. Built of hewn and dressed stone, the bridge has symmetrically designed upstream and downstream façades; today its deck has been levelled and it remains open to both vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
