Küçük Cami, Gümüşhane

Küçük Cami (Small Mosque) is a square-plan, single-unit religious building in the Süleymaniye Quarter, the area known as Old Gümüşhane, raised in masonry construction with rubble stone, dressed stone and timber. Entered through a round-arched, double-leaf wooden door on the north façade, the building has pointed-arch windows on several of its façades, while the west façade is left blank. The structure is covered by a dome, with the transition from the square plan to the dome achieved through an octagonal drum and squinches; the mihrab is of dressed stone with plain muqarnas work.
