Karaca Cave is a network of caves near the town of Torul in Gümüşhane Province, in the village of Cebeli. It displays a wealth of dripstone formations including stalactites, stalagmites, columns, organ-patterned walls, cave flowers, cave pearls and travertine terraces. Sitting at 1,550 m above sea level and about 17 km from the city centre, its air is said to be beneficial for respiratory ailments, especially asthma.
