The Torul Bridge 1 (Köprübaşı Bridge), within the bounds of the Torul district of Gümüşhane on the old Gümüşhane–Trabzon road, is a single-arched, pointed-arch stone bridge built over the Harşit River. The most distinctive feature of the structure, which is built of tuff, is the use of rusticated (bossed) masonry over most of the arch and spandrel walls; near the banks this technique gives way to small, rough-hewn stone.
