Editor's Note
It lies over the Harşit (Doğankent) River that runs through the centre of Torul district. Built in 1890 during the Ottoman period, the bridge is 68.20 m long and 6.00 m wide, and was restored by the General Directorate of Highways 10th Regional Directorate in 2014–16. [1] The bridge was built in the masonry construction system, with cut stone used as the building material. Spanning a wide opening and connecting the two banks of the district centre, the three-arched, round-arched bridge has a cutwater on each of its two piers standing in the streambed.
