The Ortamahalle Bridge, in the centre of Gümüştuğ Village (formerly known as Avliyana) in the Torul district of Gümüşhane, is a single-arched stone bridge built over the Gümüşlük Stream. Built in the rubble-fill wall technique with a semicircular arch form, using cut stone in the arch and rough-hewn stone in the piers and spandrel walls, the structure takes its name from Ortamahalle (Middle Neighbourhood) because it lies in the middle of the village's northeast–southwest extent. Although the bridge is still in use today, reinforced-concrete piers have been added in front of the original piers to widen its deck, and it has been supported with iron tie-rods.
