Editor's Note
According to the inscription on the south side of the sarcophagus in the tomb below the road to the east of the Çöreğibüyük Lodge, it was built in AH 578 (1182-83 CE) by Bedrüddin Atabek Ebu Mansur Şahinşah bin Arslan Doğmuş. The surviving part of the building consists of a central iwan running east-west and vaulted cells on either side of it. Although known as a tomb, the building is in fact a medrese. The central iwan was used as the tomb.
