Editor's Note
According to an inscription that no longer survives but was seen in the 1930s, the building near the Yeşilırmak Bridge was constructed by Mesud bin Keykavus in the 13th century. Evliya Çelebi also notes that it was used as a Bektashi lodge. Stones from its demolished enclosure wall were used in the 1904 repair of the Yeşilırmak Bridge. It lost its original architectural features in repairs carried out in 1976 and 1982. With an L-shaped plan, the building consists of a domed, iwan-fronted unit running east-west and a tomb adjoining it to the south.
