Editor's Note
Kurt Erdmann visited here on 30 July 1955. In his notes he writes: 'In Dazya he describes a domed mosque from the early Ottoman period. This mosque was built adjoining an older vaulted structure. The building is 5.60 m wide and 7.20 m deep and is covered by a slightly pointed vault made of rough stone. The vault rests on two arches carried by corbels. The masonry and profiling of the corbels [date to] the 13th [century].'
