The Çorum Mevlevi Lodge is one of the oldest Mevlevi lodges in Anatolia, built in the 13th century by Melike Hatun, the daughter of Ulu Arif Çelebi and of Kira Hatun, the second wife of Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi. Although the lodge was founded at a very early period, it failed to develop significantly over the course of history. Today the Çorum Mevlevi Lodge is privately owned and used as the headquarters of an association, with no Mevlevi-related activity taking place there.
