Editor's Note
About 1 km west of the village, on a formation roughly 100 m high and 150-200 m across that narrows from base to summit, sharpening and splitting into two forks, there are foundations of fortification walls built of rubble stone on bedrock at the 15-20 m foot of the slope, along with scattered remains of wall foundations. The castle's northern side is quite steep. On the southern side, where the slope descends, there is a water cistern with double steps offering an interior descent to the castle base, with about a 40 m drop and climb.
