The Ethnography Museum of Ege University is located in the Bornova district of İzmir, in a building known today as Sirkehane and built in the late 19th and 20th centuries. The museum displays a total of 2,499 objects, including 110 traditional folk instruments from the Balkans and the Turkic world as well as traditional clothing, accessories, jewelry and weapons.
