The Elvan Celebi Mosque and Tomb in the Elvancelebi township of the Mecitozu district consist of three adjoining and merged elements within a large garden. With its central dome and fountain (sadirvan) and its side iwans, the building shows the typical features of Turkish architecture. The inscription in the mosque section gives the date 1282, and the one over the tomb gives 1307.
