There is no source giving the mosque's construction date. However, according to information gathered from the village headman, the council of elders, and the village's elderly residents, the mosque has existed for a very long time, known to have been present since the time of the elders of the generation before the current ones, who are no longer alive. On this basis, the mosque is estimated to have been built at least 150 years ago. Alpagut means a brave warrior who attacks the enemy alone and is never caught from any side.
