Editor's Note
The mosque stands in the Karadayi neighborhood of the central district of Cankiri province, in the village center. It has a rectangular plan, a hipped roof, and the features of a classic village mosque. The mosque has no minaret. To its north stands a new mosque of the same name. At the southern end of the building's east facade, the phrase "AH 1227, written by Hafiz Mustafa" (AD 1812-1813) is carved into two adjacent stones.
