LOCATION: It stands in front of the mosque on parcel 1 of block 173 in the Kayilar neighborhood of the town of Yaylakent in the Orta district of Cankiri province. DATE OF CONSTRUCTION: According to the inscription on the fountain, this historic fountain was built in AH 1192 / AD 1779-80. PATRON: Unknown. INSCRIPTION: Only the inscription of the Kayilar neighborhood fountain is original. Measuring 0.42 by 0.24 meters and horizontally rectangular in form, it is incised into stone. The Ottoman Turkish prose text, written in jali thuluth script, reads as follows: 1- He became the patron, 2- The year 1192, mashallah, 3- Dehlili Yusuf...
