Since the mosque has no inscription, its exact date of construction is unknown, but it is thought to date from the late Ottoman period. It has square-planned, plastered body walls of cut-stone masonry, and its dome, on an octagonal drum in the middle of the structure, is covered by a tile roof. The prayer hall is entered from the flat wooden-ceilinged portico through a double-leaf wooden door. The place of worship is covered by a dome visible from inside. The transition to the dome at the corners is achieved with squinches. The drum has round-arched windows.
