Editor's Note
The four-line inscription above the entrance door states that it was commissioned in AH 1309 (1893-1894) by El Hac İbrahim, head carpenter of the Mabeyn (palace privy chamber). It was repaired in 1978 by the General Directorate of Foundations. There is a four-line inscription in talik script beneath the tughra of Abdülhamid II.
