Editor's Note
Located within the boundaries of the Güzel neighborhood in the Güdül district and known in the literature as Güdül (Dikmen Tepesi) Castle, the structure was built on a high hill commanding the region. Measuring roughly 80 by 70 meters, the castle rises on bedrock and is fortified with five bastions. Although there are interior remains visible here and there within the castle, most of the area is covered with dense vegetation. The pottery fragments found on the surface are quite limited.
