Editor's Note
This is a flat Neolithic-period settlement spread out near the Ahmeded Fountain, within farmland in Deresakarı village in central Bilecik. In the area, currently used as farmland, pottery fragments dating to the Neolithic period are found densely on the surface. On the adjacent upper plot there is also a Neolithic settlement dated to about 50 to 60 years after this one. It was registered as a first-degree archaeological site in 2014.
