Editor's Note
The tomb stands on a hill in the Ballıkaya neighbourhood of Akyazı district, Sakarya Province. In the year 668, while marching with an army under the command of Fedalet bin Ubeyd al-Ansari to besiege Istanbul, he was thrown into a stream when the ground gave way beneath his horse's feet, and he died. He was one of the Companions of the Prophet.
