It is located in Samsa Çavuş Village, Mudurnu district, Bolu Province. The tomb of Samsa Çavuş, who lived in the late 13th and early 14th centuries, has a rectangular plan and is covered with a polygonal conical cap. Samsa Çavuş, who held the first "çavuş" (sergeant) title in the Ottoman State, was one of Osman Gazi's comrades-in-arms; he held important roles in the conquest of Mudurnu, Göynük, Taraklı and İnegöl, and took part in the siege of İznik.
