Panagia Pantobasilissa, known locally as the Arched Church, is one of the churches in Tirilye and is regarded as the first church in the region whose walls were decorated with frescoes. A 1676 manuscript by the traveler Dr. John Covel records its dedication to Panagia Pantobasilissa, and the original building is dated to the late 13th century based on its wall technique; its first layer of frescoes dates to the early 14th century and a second layer to 1723.
