Hancer Ali, commander of the Karakecili tribe, was assigned by Orhan Gazi during the siege of Bursa to prevent the arrival of soldiers, weapons, and food sent by sea from Istanbul. He was martyred, together with the soldiers under his command, in battle against the Byzantines. His grave is located here.
