Editor's Note
It was established in the village of Karaman on the Mudanya road and, apart from its building, possesses 956 donums of land. Its foundation was laid on 7 March 1890 and it opened on 20 March 1891, with a model farm, stables, granaries, and outbuildings alongside it. Various animals were gradually supplied to the farm, and over time machinery was brought in from Europe for practical agriculture. The school, which was free and a boarding school, consisted of three classes and had a capacity of sixty students, all of them farmers' children.
