The ancient harbor along the shoreline of the Sirincavus neighborhood in the Bandirma district of Balikesir province is called "Tas Liman" (Stone Harbor) by local people. The stone artifacts identified in and around the ancient harbor, dated to the 4th and 6th centuries CE, offer important clues about the period when the Sirincavus Ancient Harbor was in use.
