This fountain lies within the boundaries of the Yazıcızade neighbourhood, in the Gelibolu district of Çanakkale province. Built of stone, the masonry fountain is rectangular in plan. It also has canopied recesses, set symmetrically on either side, reached by steps and lying below the level of the road. According to the inventory report, the fountain is thought to date to the second half of the 19th century and the early 20th century. It was registered as a protected cultural asset by the Çanakkale Regional Council for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage by decision no. 6652, dated 27 January 2021.
