This site lies at the Alay Çeşme locality within the boundaries of Ocaklı village, in the Gelibolu district of Çanakkale province. A north-south Late Ottoman to Early Republican period road that begins at Ocaklı village leads to an ancient wine press. It is a press carved into the bedrock. The Hellenistic-period stamped amphora handles around the press show that the wines produced here had become branded products. The large quantity of Rhodian amphora bases and handle fragments and Attic-type pottery sherds found at the site show that the region was an important trade centre.
