This structure lies within the boundaries of Suluca village, in the Lapseki district of Çanakkale province. According to the typology Takaoğlu established from archival documents, the building belongs to the group of ground mills with a tower-like, cylindrical stone-built body. According to its inventory record, it was built in the 19th century. It was registered as a protected cultural asset by the Çanakkale Regional Council for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage by decision no. 5224, dated 26 February 2019.
