This site lies at the Yukarıova locality within the boundaries of Karainebeyli village, in the Gelibolu district of Çanakkale province. Farming activity in the area has turned up amorphous pottery sherds along with fired clay roof tiles and bricks. Given the density of these finds, the site is thought to have been a small Roman and Byzantine settlement.
