Editor's Note
It lies within the boundaries of the village of Küçükanafarta, in the Eceabat district of Çanakkale province. During work carried out in the area by the Directorate of the Çanakkale Historical Site, 8,731 graves were uncovered. Among these, graves of Turkish raiders who crossed into Rumelia in the 1300s were identified. Landscaping of the area, known as the Küçükanafarta Historical Turkish Cemetery, is ongoing.
