Editor's Note
It was built as a military high school between 1869 and 1873 by the Governor of Erzurum, Fosfor Mustafa Pasha. During wartime the building also served as the barracks of the Caucasus Army. From 1918 to 1937 it was used as a military hospital. Between 1937 and 1960 it was allocated to combat battalions, and since 1960 it has been used in its present form.
