Editor's Note
It lies within the Çakıl neighbourhood of the Erdek district of Balıkesir province. It is a single-faced, pointed-arch fountain of cut stone with a water reservoir, abutting the courtyard wall beside it. The reservoir is roofed with a brick barrel vault. The structure is thought to date to the Late Ottoman period. It was registered as a Cultural Asset Requiring Protection (Group 1) by the Balıkesir Regional Directorate for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage by decision no. 1937 dated 28 February 2020.
